Upcoming Fannie Changes to 2-4 Unit Properties
Fannie has announced LTV increases as high as 95% for 2-4 Unit Primary Residence properties.
This update will be available for DU-approved loans for new and resubmitted casefiles on November 18, 2023.
Fannie also announced self-employed borrowers may only be required to provide 1 year tax returns under certain circumstances where all of the borrower’s businesses have been in existence for >5 years.
Standard documentation requirements to verify the business apply. DU will be updated to only request the 1-year returns in these scenarios for new casefiles submitted on/after January 1, 2024.
