FHA will increase its loan limit ceiling from $356,362 to $420,680 in most areas of the country.
Higher FHA Loan Limits for 2022
New loan limits may be used with applications immediately, however: FHA Loans must wait until after January 1, 2022 to issue a FHA Case Number
- It is recommended not to lock until after January 1st, you can register the loan and get a pricing indication in OB
- Please wait to lock after you get a clear CAVIRS post January 1st required date.
- GMFS will not accept an locks/loan that have the case number assigned prior to Jan 1, 2022.
- You must toggle the FHA Case # Assignment Date to get rates/price
